Gonzaga fought to remain perfect on the season whlie Dematha fough to bounce back after falling to the nations #1 baller, Shabazz Muhammed, last week.

An easy candidate for the Check My Stats Player of the Week, Kris Jenkins has done it again. In this weeks absence of Nate Britt, team leader and UNC signee, Jenkins stepped up big. On MLK day he hit the game winner against Aquille Carr's Patterson team. Britt still sidelined by injury, Jenkins dropped 27 points last night. This win helped Gonzaga to stay perfect on the season (17-0)

Other noteworthy names to mention were both Jordan Abdur-Ra'oof (Gonzaga) and James Robinson (Dematha).  Jordan Abdur-Ra'oof helped to carry some of the load by sinking two free throws in the last seconds to seal the game. He finished with 14 points.  Pittsburgh recruit James Robinson brought his A game by scoring 25 points in the loss. Dematha is 16-2 on the season.
