RJ Hunter heads up solid recruiting class for Panthers
First it was Mark Fox and UGA with landing McDonald's All-American Kentavious Caldwell, then it was Brian Gregory and Georgia Tech being surprised by a commitment from Marcus Hunt, and now new Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter brings his son RJ Hunter in as a package deal. This is the roll that college recruiting for the state of Georgia schools are on.
GSU is one of the least talked about schools when it comes to college sports in the state of Georgia but that is about to change soon. After a commitment from elite shooter RJ Hunter, solid west coast point guard David Travers and athletic power forward TJ Shipes made their pledge to the Panthers.
Along with a good 2012 recruiting class, the Panthers have also added JUCO transfer Cameron Solomon and former Virginia Tech guard Manny Atkins.
From the look of things so far, we can expect a quick turnaround in a program that was 12-19 last year.
