No.1 Ranked Harry Giles Tears ACL, Out For The Season

Oak Hill Academy’s Harry Giles has suffered a partially torn ACL in his right knee and will miss his entire senior year. The injury reportedly happened in the opening minutes of Oak Hill’s season opener Tuesday night.

This is not the first time Giles has suffered a major knee injury. He was forced to miss his entire sophomore season after tearing his ACL and MCL in his left knee while playing for the USA Basketball team. However, he had been at full strength for some time now. Giles destroyed on the AAU circuit for CP3 All Stars and led the USA U19 team to a gold medal in Greece.

(UPDATE 2:05PM) The 6’10 PF is set to announce his college decision TOMORROW on the Noon edition of SportsCenter per ESPN.  Giles will choose from Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Wake Forest.
