While the NCAA is raising their GPA requirement, the public schools across the state of Louisiana are lowering theirs to 1.5. Yes….I said 1.5! Isn’t that a D effort??
Recently, the East Baton Rouge Parish school board unanimously voted on lowering the required GPA to play sports from 2.0 to 1.5. Warren Drake, the new school superintendent feels this will keep the kids more engaged. Click here to read the full story
