McGary is headed to Ann Arbor
Yesterday evening Mitch McGary put a breath of fresh air back into the Wolverines program with his commitment. According to ESPN's Dave Telep, he is the biggest prospect to head to Ann Arbor since Lavell Blanchard in 1999. "(McGary's) a better prospect than LaVell Blanchard was," Telep told AnnArbor.com this week. There are high expectations for the five star big man who sits in the TOP 5 of every major high school ranking. He is rebounding machine on both ends of the floor, has a solid low-post game, a sweet lefty stroke that extends out to 15-feet, but what makes him special is his nonstop HEMI of a motor.
With the talent that Michigan will have surrounding McGary, expect them to make some noise in the Big Ten.
