Lonzo Ball and Chino Hills Are The Best Hands Down
Approaching this year’s high school basketball season you probably couldn’t find a scout in America who would’ve picked Chino Hills as the team to beat nationally, let alone in their state of California. After the Huskies upset two-time national champs Montverde with only without using a sub, it was evident that these guys were the real deal.
Yesterday, Chino Hills put an exclamation point behind their perfect 35-0 season by winning the CIF State Championship in a blowout against Concord De La Salle 70-50. Like usual the Huskies unorthodox style of play that includes run ‘n gun and cherry picking which sparked a 13-2 second half run put De La Salle in a deficit that could not be overcome.
High school basketball player of the year Lonzo Ball brought the crowd to their feet as he scored on three consecutive alley-oop dunks at the end of the game. Ball would finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assist for Chino Hills.

Too bad we won’t be able to see Chino Hills compete for the mythical high school basketball championship at Dick’s Sporting Goods High School Nationals.
