LaMelo Ball Is the X-Factor For Chino Hills
The Chino Hills Huskies are on a roll. A 25-0 roll. They’ve not only beat some of the best teams in the nation, they’ve controlled games with their fast-paced offense and pulled out close games with smart play from their leaders. In case you haven’t been watching the nation’s #1 team, freshman LaMelo Ball is one of the leaders on the team.
He was 13 years old taking on point guard duties with his older brother Lonzo Ball. Lonzo has said, “people say Melo is going to be the best out of all of us.” At the age of 13, he verbally committed to UCLA along with brothers LiAngelo and Lonzo Ball. He’s still got 3 more years to develop with 2 older brothers to serve as mentors.
At 5-9, the 2019 point guard can score, drop dimes and thrives off the energy of his older brothers. Think you have the team all figured out and you’ve put your best man on Lonzo, then LiAngelo sets it off. Should you happen to have another defender who is able to contain LiAngelo and forget about LaMelo and he’ll go off for 30 points (as seen in the video above).
If you aren’t hipped to the youngest of the three Ball Brothers, I suggest you pay attention to the rankings, YouTube and the articles that are written with him hidden within them. Look forward to him stepping up when big bro Lonzo moves on to UCLA next year. In the meantime, watch as they strive for perfection this 2015-2016 with Melo being the X-factor.
