If you would’ve asked me who I thought would’ve been the McDonald’s All-American dunk champion I can tell you I sure wouldn’t have said Malik Monk or even Frank Jackson. Many of us have seen Frank Jackson dunk but the hops he displayed in this dunk contest were insane. Those hops along with insane creativity, he shocked quite a few when he walked away as the last man standing.
Jackson, a Duke signee, would go on to beat out high flyers Kyle Guy, Josh Jackson and Malik Monk. Jackon’s 360-tomahawk dunk in the final round earned him a perfect score of 70 to claim the slam dunk contest.
If he’s jumping out of the gym now we have a lot to look forward to in the All-American Game. Furthermore, giving Duke fans a lot to “ohh and ahh” about.
