McDonald’s All-American Chooses Indiana

4 years ago Comments 0 Views admin

One day after falling short in the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School Nationals, Huntington Prep (VA) big man, Thomas Bryant committed to Indiana University. Bryant did so live on ESPN during the championship game of the tournament, which featured Montverde Academy vs. Oak Hill Academy.

A Rochester, NY native, Bryant chose the Hoosiers’ over Syracuse and Missouri with Kentucky a distant forth. He citied Indiana’s recent success with big men (Noah Vonleh and Cody Zeller) and getting them into the NBA what was most appealing.

The 6'10" PF/C now joins Jefferson City HS wing Ogugua 'O.G.' Anunoby and Waynesville HS PF Juwan Morgan in Tom Crean’s 2015 recruiting class. The class has one more scholarship available, presumably for a guard.
