Two McDonald’s All-Americans battle for region championship

Last Saturday was an ugly night due to the heavy rain we received in Atlanta but that didn't stop fans from coming out to see what could be the last high school matchup between two McDonald's All-Americans.  Miller Grove's Tony Parker and SW Dekalb's Shaq Goodwin have been playing against each other for years and even played along side each other this past spring and summer.  Even though they are both big men, Parker is clearly a center and Goodwin is a power forward.  The two went into this region championship wanting to take home bragging rights.  Goodwin and SW Dekalb stole the region championship from Miller Grove last year and it was the first time in the school history that they had not won their region championship.
