St. Anthonys vs. Huntington Prep was a Primetime Shooutout at it’s best
It's amazing what Kyle Anderson does for St. Anthony’s on the court. With 19 wins and 0 losses Anderson has led St. Anthony’s to another incredible start. With an unblemished record at stake the 2012 Primetime Shootout served as one of the biggest tests for the St. Anthony’s Friars as they faced a Huntington Prep team that featured several D-1 players including the top player of the 2014 class in Andrew Wiggins. Down as many as 10 points in the first half, Anderson and the Friars never seemed to be rattled. With the capacity crowd cheering him on, Anderson found ways to dissect to the defense and help his team score the ball. In the second half St. Anthony’s outscored Huntington Prep, 29-24. The suffocating defense of the Friars caused havoc for Huntington Prep. St. Anthony’s beat Huntington Prep 50-49, behind Kyle Anderson’s team high 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.
