Shabazz Makes A Statement To Scouts

Saturday night at the 2012 Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei High School in California the nations number one player Shabazz Muhammad showed why he should be a top of the Class of 2012.  Earlier in the week 6'10 Nerlens Noel(Tilton School) announced that he was reclassifying back into the Class of 2012 form the Class of 2013, thus sending scouts to their computers to try and decide where he fits among their rankings.  Some people were having trouble determining if Muhammad should remain at number one, but after his performance against Chicago's Whitney Young its evident that he should stay atop of the throne.

In the last game of the event Bishop Gorman defeated the Chicago school 69-50 as Muhammad scored a game high 41 points in front of a packed house.  The 6'6 shooting guard was 13 for 20 on the night, while going 6 for 6 from three.  Muhammad still unsigned mentioned after the game that he is still considering Kentucky, UNLV, Arizona, UCLA, and Duke.
