The New York Knicks hosted two special events for children serviced by the Garden of Dreams Foundation today.  CourtCred attended the first event which was held at the Knicks Training Facility.  The Knicks and Garden of Dreams conducted clinics for 100 children to celebrate NBA Fit Live Healthy Week which included shooting, dribbling, lay up lines and and defense drills by current Knick players Renaldo Balkman, Iman Shumpert, Josh Harrellson, Baron Davis and Carmelo Anthony, who is a NBA Fit Team member.  The message was clear to the kids.  Keep hope and your dreams alive, eat and live healthy.  Most of all, keep your body in shape.  The second event was a trip for twenty-five Garden of Dreams children on a double-decker bus through mIdtown Manhattan.  First stop, Rockefeller Center and than fun and games at Dave & Busters TIme Square with Mike Bibby, Jerome Jordan and Jeremy Lin.  Garden of Dreams works closely with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to make dreams come true for kids facing obstacles.
