Florida commit makes coaching easy for Muggsy Bogues

Last year during MLK weekend, I was in North Carolina for a tournament where Florida commit Braxton Ogbueze lit up Oak Hill Academy for 31 points.  At the time I didn't know who Ogbueze was but I continued to follow him throughout the summer during the Nike EYBL.  Just like typical Univ. of Florida point guards, he is an electrifying scorer who is at best creating his shot off the dribble.

I caught up with Braxton Ogbueze at the Hilton Invitational a few weeks ago and during our conversation he expressed that he wanted to just get better as a player.  Former NBA point guard Muggsy Bogues is Ogbueze high school coach and he stated the Top 50 recruit makes his job easy.  With the departure of senior Florida point guard Erving Walker coming up, Ogbueze is the perfect replacement.
